Ingredients

  • 2 Cup Raw Peanuts
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 100 Gram Besan Or Gram Flour
  • 1 Tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Tsp Amchur Or Dry Mango Powder
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp Asafoetida
  • Pinch of Baking Soda
  • Black Pepper As Required

Instructions

Step 1
In a big bowl, add gram flour, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, salt, dry mango powder, asafoetida, baking soda and oil. Mix all the ingredients well.
Step 2
Soak raw peanuts in water for a few seconds and then strain it.
Step 3
Transfer these peanuts to the gram flour bowl and mix well.
Step 4
Add about 60 ml of water and mix again.
Step 5
Place this bowl of peanuts in the microwave for 5 minutes. Take out and seperate peanuts from each other.
Step 6
Next, place the peanut bowl in the microwave again and cook for 2 munutes. Repeating this for 1-2 times will make the peanuts crunchy.

If you don't wish to cook it in the microwave, fry the gram flour coated peanuts in a kadhai till golden brown. Take off flame and serve.
