Here is an easy recipe to prepare bread samosas at home. You just need a few ingredients and your street-style samosas are ready in less than an hour.

How To Make Bread Samosa?

  • In a kadhai, add some oil, hing, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, and saute. 
  • Add in chopped chillies, ginger, and peas. Saute. 
  • Next sprinkle all the spices - chilli powder, salt, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, black pepper powder, and mango powder. 
  • Lastly, add mashed potatoes and combine all the ingredients well. 
  • In a bowl, add some maida, cornflour, salt, red chilli powder. Add in water to make a paste. 
  • Trim the bread sides and roll to flatten the bread. 
  • Give the bread shape of a cone and fill in the aloo masala. 
  • Seal with water. 
  • Dip the bread samosa in the maida mix. 
  • Roll it on a plate with breadcrumbs and deep fry in hot oil till crispy and golden. 
  • Enjoy hot with tomato chutney.

  • 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Fennel Seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander Seeds
  • Pinch Of Hing
  • 1 Tsp Chopped Ginger
  • 1/2 Cup Peas
  • 1/2 Tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 Tsp Mango Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Pepper Powder
  • Salt As Required
  • 1-2 Green Chillies
  • Maida
  • Cornflour
  • Water As Required
  • Bread crumbs


Step 1
In a kadhai, add some oil, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, hing and mix.
Step 2
Add in chopped chilli, ginger and peas. Saute.
Step 3
Sprinkle all the spices and mix well.
Step 4
Further add in mashed potato and combine all the ingredients.
Step 5
Prepare a slurry using maida, corn flour, salt and chilli flakes.
Step 6
Trim the sides of bread and flatten using a rolling pin.
Step 7
Add in the aloo masala and seal to make a cone shape.
Step 8
Dip the bread samosa in the maida slurry and roll on the breadscrumbs.
Step 9
Heat oil in a kadhai and fry the bread samosas.
