You sure have heard people say that you mustn’t use your phone before sleeping. However, due to a lack of factual information, you may still be using your phone, scrolling away to glory in bed. Let us tell you why a phone or any technological device that emits rays must not be used before sleeping. First of all, checking your phone while you are in bed keeps your brain active and restricts it from resting. Secondly, and more importantly, the rays that are emitted from the phone suppress the levels of melatonin. This is the hormone that works on your sleep cycle, so if there is a shortage of melatonin, you will be unable to sleep.
