Summers this year are way too hot. According to reports, March 2022 saw heatwaves in various parts of India. The weather department has said temperatures broke all records, making this March India's hottest in 122 years since 1901. Meaning that, if you want to stay healthy, you have to stay hydrated. However for these extremely hot summers, you don't only need to stay hydrated but you need a little more than hydration as well as nutrition. And if you are in an extremely hot place, you must take extra care of yourself.

Expert nutritionist, Pooja Makhija took to her Instagram to share a cooler made with Sabja seeds.

She says, if you are in an environment with scorching heat and if you want to stay a little bit more hydrated and want more nutrition, you should try Sabja Seeds.

Sabja Seeds are Sweet Basil Seeds. These teardrop shaped seeds absorb 4 times their dry weight in terms of water, forming a jelly like substance called hydrogel.

"It is best to have sabja seeds soaked in water on an empty stomach every day. You can also have it with salads, curd or dal. In summers, I generally recommend taking sabja seeds with the seasonal fruits such as mango, strawberries and banana mashed with milk to make a wholesome dish. Add sugar to it if you like or go sugar free if you are aiming for weight loss with sabja seeds."
