Here is another episode of Monday Motivation. This week we have yoga asanas that will help you control thyroid disorders. Thyroid is a common health issue in the country today. Although thyroid can happen to both men and women, women face more trouble.
The thyroid is a gland located in the neck that produces the thyroxine hormone. This hormone affects your metabolism. When the gland does not produce enough hormones, it results in hypothyroidism and this leads to weight gain and fatigue among other problems.
When the production of hormones is high, it leads to hyperthyroidism. This results in weight loss, excess sweating, and irregular heartbeat.
