You might find it a little tricky to select the right oil for your hair during the summer season. While a lot of people completely avoid using oils during hot and humid weather, there are many who just can't do without it. After all, hair oiling is just another way to nourish our hair.
I like oiling my hair throughout the year and mostly do it twice or thrice a month. Just like many out there, I too was confused about the oil I should switch to this season. Summers arrived early this year and there wasn't a lot of time to explore the options. However, I still made sure I gave some a try.
When I got my hands on this HairVeda herbal oil, I was skeptical. There are plenty of herbal oils available in the market today, all claiming to be loaded with natural ingredients, and having multiple benefits. Did this one work for real? Here is my detailed review.

My Experience
I have thin hair with a combination scalp. For someone like me, it can be quite challenging to find the right hair care products, especially oils. I don't skip oiling despite the fact that I have a combination scalp because I feel my hair needs that kind of nourishment atleast once or twice a month after being exposed to all the negative environmental factors.
One of the biggest reasons behind me investing in this herbal hair oil were the 11 key ingredients. I have always heard about the goodness of ingredients like amla, brahmi, shikakai but it looked like a task to incorporate these into my hair care regime. One good thing about using this hair oil is definitely that one single oil has it all.
Also, one big issue which we all face while using hair oils during the summer season is that they make our scalp and hair sticky. However, the consistency of this hair oil is quite light, and thinner as compared to regular oils. Also, I would suggest applying it for a shorter period of time instead of long hours or overnight to prevent this issue.
I have been using this hair oil for a while and can vouch for the shine it gives to my hair.

How To Use HairVeda Herbal Oil?
Just take a few drops of the oil on your palm and gently massage it over your scalp. You can take more quantity of oil depending on your hair length. After applying all over the scalp, gently massage for 10 to 15 minutes.
Keep it for a minimum of 30 minutes and then wash with a mild cleanser. Follow with conditioner.
During the summer season, I like to keep the oil on for not more than 30 - 40 minutes. I completely avoid using it overnight because, during this hot and humid season, most of us already have an oily scalp.

- Non-greasy formula
