Warts are a small growth on the body with a rough texture and an appearance of that of a solid blister. Warts can appear anywhere on the body and are treatable. A virus named human papillomavirus causes warts and there are several types of warts depending on the thickness of the skin and where on the body they grow. Here are certain  types of warts that are commonly found common warts, flat warts, pigmented warts, and plantar warts. There may also appear black dots on warts which can lead to bleeding. Usually, warts disappear within 1-5 years of their development, without being treated medically.  But there are some warts that grow over sensitive areas that need urgent attention and treatment. 

Talking about the treatment of warts, salicylic acid, duct tape, cryotherapy, surgery, laser treatment, electrocautery, cantharidin, chemical treatments, photodynamic therapy, topical creams, and antigen shots are the most widely used treatments for warts. Garlic

Garlic has been used in treating fungal and viral infections for a very long time. Warts can also be treated with garlic, thanks to its antifungal and antimicrobial properties.  Allicin present in garlic is the main element that is used to stop the growth of viruses and fungi over the skin. To use garlic for warts, crush one of the cloves of garlic, then add some water to it. Wash the area where your wart is, and then gently apply the garlic paste over the wart and cover with a bandage. Repeat this procedure daily for about a month and your wart will be gone.

Orange Peel

Treatment with orange peel is another very widely followed remedy for warts. Orange peel is rubbed over warts and then initially they change colour, turn dark and then fall off on their own.

Pineapple

Pineapple is enriched with a mixture of enzymes called, bromelain, which absorbs proteins(Consume these proteins to lose weights). This makes pineapples a great remedy for the treatment of warts at home, as the bromelain present in the pineapples dissolves the proteins in the virus that causes warts and the warts go away.  All you need to do is, soak your wart into pineapple juice every day for 3- 4 weeks or apply fresh pineapple to get rid of warts completely.

Potato

Using potatoes for the treatment of warts is another very trusted remedy. The potatoes(Potatoes for skin)dehydrate warts and that is why the virus fails to exist any longer. The wart then turns dark and falls off on its own. Cut a small piece of potato depending on the size of the wart. Then rub the potato over the wart until it's covered in potato juice entirely, and leave it on. Repeat this process twice a day for better and faster results.

Bananas are a fount of potassium, and potassium is known to have the ability to fight the HPV(the virus that causes warts). A helpful remedy for the treatment of warts at home is banana peel as it has potassium in it, which can ward off warts easily. Take a banana peel and rub it over warts for 5-6 minutes and repeat this process daily for better results.
